“This [pack] you can fit the transmission shaft to the center part of the rear axle, adding to the pieces that run along the bottom of your replica Aston Martin DB5 model.“
This image includes the parts for the entire issue. However, the parts included with this pack are:
- Transmission Shaft
Materials: This Transmission Shaft is metal.
This pack comes with one bag of unlabeled screws containing the following type(s):
- One (1) Type L – We’ve seen these before, but this one was not included in the parts list.
Retrieve your Rear Axle assembly from the previous pack. Fit the slotted end of the Transmission Shaft over the matching tab and screw hole of the Rear Axle, as shown.
The Transmission Shaft is the same on the top and bottom, so it can be attached either way (as long as the slotted end is on the Rear Axle):
Secure this into place with the supplied one (1) Type L screw:
The Transmission Shaft will still be able to move up and down a bit after this is tight, that is normal:
This pack only consisted of attaching one part; why are these so short! This Transmission Shaft is metal, which is strange being that the Rear Axle assembly is all plastic. With my other vehicle builds it is the exact opposite. Being that this DB5 was one of Eaglemoss’ first partwork builds, perhaps they learned their lesson for future releases and changed it. This assembly will be needed again in Pack 66, so keep it nearby.
